MATCHES ON SATURDAY. Six finks from the Fitzroy Club ourneyed to Waitara and defeated representatives of the local club, having a margin of 19 in the aggregate. A scratch match was played on the New Plymouth greens between members chosen by the selectors for the "A” and “B” sections of the club. The "A" team scored an easy and decisive win. Some teams from the New Plymouth Club will be visiting Hawera on Good Friday, and Waitara on Easter Monday. WEST END "A” v. VOGELTOWN. A game played on Saturday on the West End green, between Vogeltown and West Enl “A”, resulted in a narrow win for the home team by five points. STRATFORD DEFEAT MANAIA. A team of four rinks from the Stratford Bowling Club visited Manaia on Thursday and had an enjoyable time, besides defeating the local club by a narrow margin of one point. They- also received the congratulations of the Manaia Club’s president (Mr. P. McCarthy). Mr. J. S. Lyons responded on behalf of the visitors.
