BOARD OF GUARDIANS.
A LABOR LANDSLIDE. RESULT OF EXTRAVAGANCES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received April 7, 8.5 p.m. London, April 7. The results of the Board of Guardians’ elections in the London area indicate a Labor landslide. Labor lias lost fifty seats so far. Twenty-one boards now have municipal Reform majorities, and two boards only of Labor. The Labor losses occurred in the working class districts, the voting in which was condemnatory of the recent extravagances in poor law relief, which increased the rates unprecedently. —Aus.-N.Z.
