REPLY TO JOHN DIGGINS.
(To the "Editor.) Sir, —It would be very interesting to know what Mr. John Diggins did an the Great War. Also if he thinks it an honorable thing to do to agree with the principles of a man who is enjoying the peace and prosperity of our little N.Z., which we boys fought and laid down our lives for, and who now in the security of that peace is busy sowing the seed of disloyalty. As a nation we have to be thankful for the knowledge that should an occasion arise we have enough loyalty to smother like plague rats those who scoff at our King and Country.—l am, etc., VOLUNTEER.
