COOK—N ILLES FIGHT CANCELLED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, April 3. Mr. Lucas informed the Australian Press representative that he had written the promoters of the Cook—Nilles fight, cancelling the contest, because he had confirmation that the promoters had arranged a match between Carpentier and Nilles for September. An Australian admirer of Cook cabled Mr. Lucas asking him to challenge Carpentier again In the event of Cook defeating Beckett.
