FRENCH HOLD STRENGTHENED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Paris, April 3. The Matin says that M. Sarraut has coti firmed the agreement under which ah ares in the former New Hebrides Company pass into the hands of a French firm. The Matin adds: “France thus retains her rights under the same title as Britain over this rich colony.” [The shares in question were offered to Mr. W. M. Hughes, but the Federal House refused to provide the money required.]
