The result of the ballot of members of the Post and Telegraph Association on the proposal to affiliate with the Alliance of Labor js as follows: — Number of voting papers issued 7317 Number of votes cast 6390 For affiliation 4379 Against 1!>73 Informal 38 Number of votes (three-fifths of votes polled) required to carry proposal 3811 The P. and T. Executive will meet to take the necessary steps to effect affiliation with the Alliance.
