ANNETTE KELLERMAN TO VISIT NEW PLYMOUTH. Miss Annette Kellerman, the worldfamous cinema star, whose screen work has been admired by the people of many countries, will personally make her appearance at the Empire Theatre, New Plymouth, on Thursday. April 10, for three nights only, at the head of her own company of Tivoli Follies, and it is safe to sav that the huge bill of fare of international vaudeville acts, together with the acts and the outstanding attractions of Miss Kellerman’s personal appearance on the stage, I will draw crowded houses. The Weekly Press critic says: “I was in the I full house that welcomed Miss KellerI man to New’ Zealand, and, like everyI body else, recognised that we were beJ ing entertained by a great artist; one so accomplished that her efforts appeared to be produced without effort, and the most difficult achievements seemed to be the easiest. As the heroine of so many aquatic exploits she will attract the attention of all the men. Miss Kellerman was the star in the picture classics, ‘Neptune’s Daughter,’ and ‘A Daughter of the Gods.’ She is said to be an entertainer with a versatility second' to few. Miss Kellerman and her company have just concluded a long session throughout New Zealand and Australia. The company are travelling with six tons of scenery, also a huge crystal tank holding 700 gallons of water. The box plan opens at Collier’s on Tuesday next at 9 a.m.
