VITAL STATISTICS.
NEW PLYMOUTH FIGURES. The record of vital statistics in thd New Plymouth district for . March shows there were five more births as compared with the same month last} year, marriages being the same, but there was one more death. The ages of the persons who died show that there were two over eighty years, four from 62 to 68, and three in the forties. For the first quarter of this year there were eight deaths more then in the 1921 period; marriages were less by six and births show an increase of thirty. Details are:—
