CONCESSIONS ON BEEF. COMMENDABLE ACTIVITY By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meat Producers’ Board have had a further meeting with representatives of the shipping companies regarding the necessity for a special concession in the rate freight on beef, in view of the deplorable poetion of the beef markt. The board is also negotiating with the freezing companies and other interests With a view to obtaining ' a reduction of charge* incurred in marketing beef. The board will make a definite statement shortly.
