At golf, Cambridge beat Oxford by three foursomes and five singles to two foursomes and five singles. Tolley was brilliant. Partnering Wimble, he defeated Longbourne ana Goadley by twelve and eleven. He beat Prowse, Cambridge’s captain, in the singles by three and two. after a keen struggle. All were 36-hole matches.
