SCULLING.
HADFIELD AND PADDON TRAINING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last NightA Hadfield and Paddon are training steadily for the race for the world’s sculling championship on the Wanganui River on April 8. The weather has interfered somewhat, but both men have done solid work, both on the water and on land. Paddon is still over weight, but Hadfield 1b in the pink of condition. Both covered“'?he full distance to-day, pleasing their respective parties. Many enthusiasts visit the course dally. The Sculling Committee last night decided to issue Invitations to the Governor-General, the Premier, the Leader of the Opposition, and the immediate past Premier.
