A conference of representatives of the dairying industry was opened, at which the Premier elaborated the Government’s policy for the stabilisation of primary industries. The conference decided to appoint an advisory board for the dairying industry, with power to appoint an expert administrative staff. The cost, during the firstyear, will be defrayed by the Government, and after that the cost will be contributed by the individual suppliers. The board will consist of seven members, five being appointed by the conference and two by the Government.
