TUNA SPORTS.
A SUCCESSFUL GATHERING. March 24. I ’A very successful sports gathering and picnic, organised by an energetic committee of residents of the district, took place at the Tuna School grounds to-day. A comprehensive programme of sports 1 was put thorugh, the secretary Mr. H. Lock (headmaster of the Tuna School) and the treasurer (Mr. F. S. Varnham) lending themselves unstintingly to the task of catering to the enjoyment of the gathering. A tasty afternoon tea was served by the ladies of the district. Among those present were Mr. R. Masters, M.P., and a number c" visitors from Stratford and the surrounding districts. Following are the results of the competitions: — Boys’ Race.—s to 8 years: H. Watson 1, M. Bell 2, M.
