Sugar.—Granulated 49/61 CANTERBURY RAM FAIR Christchurch, Last Night. The Canterbury ram fair concluded to-day, when etude were offered. The sale was disappointing, the bulk of lots being passed. Long wools were almost entirely neglected, Downs and Corriedales being the only breeds meeting with free competition. Top prices, which were only for a few special entries, were: Romneys 7gns., English Leicesters 23gns., Border Leicesters 21 gns., Southdowns 23gns., Shropshire 15 gns., and Corriedale lOlgns, AUCKLAND SHARE MARKET. Auckland, Last Night. Sales.—New Zealand inscribed (1938) £9O 15e, Gisborne sheep farmers’ debentures £9B, New Zealand Insurance 27/6, Wilson’s cements 15/3, Waihi 20/and 20/3.
