ATHLETICS.
MANAIA HIBERNIAN SPORTS. The programme for the above mentioned club has been enlarged by putting on a mile handicap, particulars of which appear in another part of this issue. For the benefit of competitors and the public, the committee bas arranged for a special 'bus to leave the Hawera Post Office at 10.15 a.m. on the morning of the sports. TOKO SETTLERS’ SPORTS. The Toko sports and picnic on Thursday next is an event that is- being looked forward to with considerable Interest. Over £5B is being spent on prizes, special prizes. The double-handed sawing will be an open event. The meeting is registered under the N.Z.A. and Cycling rules. The programme appears elsewhere, and it will be seen to be a most comprehensive one that should provide a great day's sport.
