BODY OF A MAN FOUND. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Foxton, March 18. The body of a man, presumably washed down by the recent flood, was found cn the river bank about two miles from the sea this morning. It is of medium build, clean shaven, and dressed in a dark navy blue suit, tan boots and cloth overcoat. The police removed the body to the morgue. There was nothing in the pockets to assist identification. CASE OF SUICIDE. Auckland. March 18. Henry George Bendall, married, 48 years of age, was found in a bedroom at noon to-day with a severe wound in his throat. He died before a doctor arrived. Deceased was a mattress maker and had been depressed lately. He leaves a widow and one child.
