PERSONAL.
Mr. E. H. Tribe returned to New Ply mouth last night after a three weeks’ holiday at Queenstown.
Mr. Percy Leggatt, of Messrs. Summerson and Sons, Darlington, expects to return to New Plymouth between the 27th and 30th inst.
Mr. J. H. Lowe, district engineer for railways at, Invercargill, who has been transferred to Wanganui, was presented with a token of esteem by the Invercargill traffic staff prior to his departure. Mr. E. Griffiths, of New Plymouth, who has been attending a meeting of the council of the Jersey Breeders’ Association at Palmerston North, . returned home last night.
A vote of sympathy with Mr. C. S. Foote, of Fitzroy, who is ill, was passed by the Fitzroy Ratepayers’ Association at last night’s meeting, and hopes were expressed for his speedy recovery.
