THE SEAMEN’S UNION
TROUBLE OVER TRANSFERS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, March <l3. Mr. Havelock Wilson has cabled Mr. Walsh, of the Australian Seamen’s Union. “Members of the National Sailors’ and Firemen’s Union complain that, you refuse to transfer any of our members •although we have had an agreement with your union of many years standing to transfer each others’ members. May I ask if that resolution has been rescinded, as we have had no notice? If you persist in being unreasonable in this matter we shall have to protect our members’ interests.”
