PARIS OLYMPIC GAMES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —-Copyright. Received March 10, 7.40 p.m. Paris, March 9. The Government has decided that the Parc Princess, near the | Bois de Boulogne, shall be the site of the Olympic Games, and has granted twenty million francs preparatory to construction. The municipality of Paris has granted an additional ten million.—Reuter Service.
MANAIA HIBERNIAN SPORTS.
The programme for the Manaia Hibernian Sports Club’s meeting on April 8 shows the progressive spirit of the club in its desire to foster athletics. A dozen events are carded for competition. and the total prize money offered is £llO. The Hibernian, Sheffield, and the Publican’s Handicap are worth £l5 each, and other well endowed events are provided. Nominations close on April 1 and handicaps will appear on April 15.
