A MURDER PLOT.
ANTI-BRITISH AGITATION. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Received March 9, 11.40 p.m. Cairo, March 8. The trial has commenced of five Egyptians, including a member of Zaghlul Pasha's staff, on a charge of conspiring to murder British officers and officials, burn railways and telegraphs. The prosecution added that the accused organised a plot to murder Sarwat Pasha, now Prime Minister, but an accomplice informed the police, who seized the gang and bombs on the eve of the attempt.—Aus.-N.Z.
