ATTACK ON WELFARE LEAGUE. By Telegraph.—-Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The Auckland branch of the Post and Telegraph Officers’ Association recorded “strong resentment of the action of the Welfare League, which has published insinuations of falsity against the president and permanent secretary of the association, and it is of opinion that the Welfare League has as its ultimate object the consolidation of the vested interests within the Dominion, and it asks the league to please not to interfere in matters which are the concern of the post and telegraph officers alone; also the meeting records its continued loyalty and regard to the two officers who have been the subjects of the league’s unwarranted attack.”
