• SYMPATHY OF METHODISTS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —vop«rlght. Received March 7, 7.35 p.m. Sydney, March 7. The Methodist Conference approved of amendments to the basis of union with the Presbyterian and Congregational Churches adopted at the recent combined conference, and approved of continued co-operation in the work, with a view to eventual union. The conference also expressed sympathy with the Lambeth Conference appeal in the direction of union of the whole of the Protestant churches.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
