OK Al AW A CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Okaiawa Football Club was held last Wednesday, Mr. A. Lees presiding over a good attendance. The annual report of the management committee congratulated the teams on a successful year. The second juniors were beaten on only three occasions and the first juniors went through the southern fixtures without a defeat, being defeated by Toko in the play off for the provincial championship. The seniors also put up a good performance, especially in the first round. Three members, B. Roberts, F. Atkins, and F. Roberts gained representative honors. The report and the balance sheet (showing a credit of £4 14s 9d) were adopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: Patron, Mr. W. A. Guy; president, Mr. A. Lees; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. L. Houlahan, W. Baker, Fahey, J. O’Sullivan, A. Christiansen, Jno. Johnstone, W. Hollis, Toro, N. Crocker, E. Drake, A. Fraser, G. Betts, Mortimer, W. Williams, T. Innes, W. Johnston; general committee, Messrs. Houlahan, Baker, Jno. Johnstone, Fahey, Hollis, Mortimer, Drake, Toro, Johns; secretary and treasurer. Mr. E. Johns; coach, Mr. W. A. Guy; club captain, Mr. Jno. Johnstone; selectors, Messrs. W. A. Guy, Jno. Johnstone, W. Baker; delegates to Union, Messrs. A. Lees and W. A. Guy; auditor, Mr. A. Lees. It was resolved that it be an instruction to the delegates to endeavor to secure for the club the whole of the gate takings, and, that it be a recommendation to the general committee to endeavor to run a fourth team. The annual subscription was fixed at 3s for playing members and 7s 6d and 5s hon. members (men and ladies respectively).
