There were splendid entries, and teams from West End, Auckland, Canterbury, Picton and Walrau competed. Results : Junior Fours, one mile and a half.—Star (Wellington) 1, Petone 2, Union (Wanganui) 3. Junior Sculls, one nrile.—Union (Wanganui) 1, Wanganui 2, Wellington 3. Time, Bmln. 22sec. Senior Fours, two miles.—Union (Wanganui) 1. Wairau 2, Petone 3. Time, 12min. 14sec. Maiden Fours.—Star 1, Petone 2. Senior Sculls, one mile and a half, for Pearce Challenge Cup.—Sharpe (Union, Waren»ui) i, Wilson (Wellington) 2. Won easily by three lengths.
