ATHLETICS.

INGLEWOOD SPORTS. The wet weather on Thursday last was a keen disappointment to the Inglewood Sports Club officials, as they had made complete arrangements for the successful currying out of the meeting, and the splendid nominations received from all parts of Taranaki pointed to a/, record gathering. Nothing daunted by the first postponement, the officials are working harded to ensure success this week, and the large entries should ensure keen competition on Thursday. The Inglewood Club is to be complimented on putting on such a good programme, and deserves the support of the public of the town and surrounding district.
