A RIVAL FOR DEMPSEY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.— New York, March 3. Harry Wills knocked out Kid Norfolk in tte second round to-night, thus demonstrating that he is the natural contender for Dempsey’s title. There has been much, talk of Wills meeting Dempsey should he decisively beat Norfolk. It is now believed certain that, unless the color line prevents the fight. Wills will soon do battle with Dempsey for the championship. • HANNAH DEFEATS CALLOWAY. Nelson, March- 4. In a boxing contest Hannah (9.11) defeated Calloway (10.1%) in fifteen rounds for £l5O, on points. MATCHES IN AUSTRALIA Received March 5, 5.5 p.m. Sydney, March 5. Boxing at. the Stadium a twenty-round contest between two youngsters. Les Waters and Bobby Gray, resulted in favor of Waters on points after a "ding-dong” go. Both are clever and willing fighters.- Waters did most of the leading and was generally a fraction quicker than his opponent, and consequently he scored better Received March 5, 5.5 p.im.
