The Taranaki tennis team won comfortably from the Wellington representatives in a match at New Plymouth on Saturday, getting the decision by 14 gaunes to 1, and 188 sets to 95. The weather was fine with a drying wind, but tte rains on the previous day made the lawns somewhat heavy.
