ABORIGINES DISAPPEARING. By Telegraph.- -Press Assn.—CopyrlgM Sydney, March 3. The Museum authority says that the aborigines are rapidly vanishing. Only 1200 are left in the State. Those who are children to-day will see the end of the last black man and woman. BONUS SCHEME REJECTED. Sydney, Alarch 3. A manufacturing firm submitted a bonus scheme to the Australasian engineers with tne object of stimulating production. The union rejected the offer. RAILWAYMEN KILLED. Sydney, March 3. Twu railway workers at Bathurst, Lance Evans and William Fogarty, were run down bv the paper train and killed. Both had knocked off for lunch and did not see the approaching train. FALL IN PRICES. Sydney, Alarch 3. The monthly statement of prices of food and groceries records a steady declifie. There has been a drop of 20 per -cent, since the beginning of the year. R.B. STERLING RESCUE. Melbourne, March 3. The Lord Mayor entertained the officers of the Melbourne and the crew of the- rescue boat to mark the citizens’ appreciation of the rescue of the Helen B Sterling’s crew. Medals awarded to members of the rescue party were presented.
