WOMEN SHOP-LIFTERS By Telegraph.—Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. Two young women—Myra McLaren (married) and Eileen Callaghan, both sisters, pleaded guilty at the Magistrate’s Court to-day to several charges of stealing goods from drapers’ shops and receiving goods knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained. On the joint charges of theft each was sentenced to fourteen days’ imprisonment, convictions without penalty being entered in the other cases.
