ALLEGED BREACH OF PROMISE. BEAUTY SPECIALIST’S CASE. By Telegraph.—PreAssociation Wellington, Feb. 28. The breach of promise case Tate v. Windsor was continued in the Supreme Court to-day. One witnesss told how one night in October Windsor talked of suicide because plaintiff had taken part in a ceremony of marriage in the Catholic Church. Plaintiff’s case is closed. Mr. Gray opening for the defence, said it was certainly a remarkable thing for a young and attractive young woman, who should be able to do very well for herself in the matrimonial market, to ask the jury to endow her for the future at the expense of a gentleman old enough to be her father.
