A POPULAR WELCOME. By Telegraph.- -Press Assn.—Copyrigtt. Delhi, Feb. 27. The Prince of Wales spent an hour in the North-western railway shops at Moghulpura, viewing the construction of carriages and locomotives in all its branches, and he accepted a model of the saloon in which he travelled throughout India as a souvenir. He received a demonstrative reception. Afterwards he visited the Legislative Council and replied to the President’s address of welcome. This is the only legislative body in India possessing a •mace. It consists of a Persian battleaxe which was formerly in the Sikh armoury at the Lahore fight.
