WARRANT FOR CHAIRMAN. HIS ARREST IMPENDING. By Telegraph.—Press Assa—Copyright. London, Feb. 27. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Mr. Bevan, chairman of directors of the City Equitable Insurance Company, who disappeared when the company failed. He was last seen at Naples. The warrant is issued at the instance of Sir A. Bodkin (Public Prosecutor), for alleged fraud as chairman of the company, Rome, Feb. 27. The Spanish Consulate at Naples refused to grant Mr. Gerald Bevan a passport to visit Constantinople. Mr. Bevan then approached the British Consul, who impounded his passport. Bevan’s arrest is impending.
