CHEAPER BREAD.

REDUCTION NEXT MONTH. FLOUR AND PRODUCE DOWN By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Feb. 27. Bread is to fall by a penny for the 4 lb. loaf on March 4 in the South Island and on March 11 in the North Island. The announcement was made to-day on behalf of the Minister for Industries and Commerce. Subject to the same discount and terms as last year flour is to be reduced from the base price of £2l per ton to £18; pollard from £9 to £8; and bran from £6 to £5. The alterations in respect of flour, bran and pollard come into operation on March 1.
