ENTERTAINMENTS.

CONCERT AT INGLEWOOD. Last night a full-dress rehearsal of the New Plymouth children’s concert party, organised by Mr. J. Hoskin, was held. Tonight the party appear at Inglewood, the proceeds to be in aid of the Beautifying Society’s funds. Every item was included in last night’s rehearsal, which was carried through most successfully. The chief items will be fancy dancing by squads of senior and junior girls and songs by Miss Keith a Loveridge, Mr. P. A. Tunbridge, besides boy and girl songsters. Mr. J. Lowe, who distinguished himself at the recent band contest, will give a euphonium solo. A pretty little Hawaiian sketch is included, whilst Wilson’s orchestra and Miss E. Harper will provide the accompaniments.
