The official plague figures show that there have been fifty-six eases in Brisbane and twenty-eight deaths; thirty-two cases in Townsville and twenty-eight deaths; and eighteen cases in Cairns and eleven deaths. INFECTED RATS IN SYDNEY. Received Feb. 23, 12.55 a.m. Sydney, Feb. 22. Two plague rats have been discovered, one at Paddington and one in the city.
