MUTINY ON LINER.
PASSENGERS REFUSER FOOD. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Paris, Feb. 19. Captain Cochery, of the liner Amazon, withdrew proceeding!-, against the members of his crew, who w’ere charged with mutiny in remarkable circumstances, and the seamen, who had been in prison for some time, were released. The mutiny started when a steward, considering himself insulted by a passenger, referred the matter to the secretary of the Seamen’s Union, who happened to be on board. The secretary ordered that the passengers were not to be served by any steward. The other passengers interfered and >ll the stewards demanded that tire passenger should be put ashore. The mutiny then commenced, the passengers were refused all food and a Soviet tribunal set up.
