MAY POSSIBLY REFLOAT, By Telegraph. —Pre*’ Association Greymouth, Feb. 18. Captain Pearson, of the steamer Orepuki, which arrived from Wellington, reported he had sighted the Valmaire ashore, head on to the beach, about nine miles west of the Spit Lighthouse. The crew are camped ashore in tents. In answer to signals offering assistance the master signalled that the vessel was hard and fast, at the then state of the tide, but would possibly refloat with the rising spring tides.
