The industrial situation is somewhat brighter The decision of the underground officials to -resume work is regarded as a serious blow to the federation. The number of men’ returning has increased and several mines resumed milling, though operations are naturally restricted. A mass meeting of 8000 miners passed a resolution to stand firm in the fight for a white South Africa.
