TROUBLE WITH SIKHS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Feb. 16, 5.5 pun. London, Feb. 15. A cable from the Viceroy to the Government indicates that the Sikh situation is causing considerable anxiety. The action of the local government in surrendering the keys of the Golden Temple to Sikh reformers, and in releasing Sikh prisoners, is being regarded in certain parts of the Punjab as a triumph for the non-co-opera-tors. There is some wiki talk about the next movement to secure the keys of the Punjab.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. PROPAGANDA IN JAPAN. Tokio, Feb. 15. The Indian colony at Kobe, after heated meetings, decided to refuse to join the other British residents in welcoming the Prince of Wales. The resolution states that, sympathising with their brethren in India, no Indian representative will serve on the committee., During the past few weeks local Indians have bombarded the Japanese and foreign Press with anti-Britiah propaganda.
