VICTORIA LEAGUE.

NEW PLYMOUTH BRANCH. A meeting of the council of the New Plymouth branch of the Victoria League was held at the league rooms on Monday night. It was decided that the first quarterly gathering of league members be held on Monday, February 20. This will take the form of a musical and social evening. Afterwards the council entertained Mrs. Ruesell, who is severing her connection with the league, at supper. Much regret was expressed at the loss of Mrs. Ruseell, who has been many months with the Victoria League, and been so much liked by all.
