ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
MARRIED MAN DROWNED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Opotiki, Feb. 14. Edward Frank Collins, contractor to the County Council has been drowned in the river at Matahanea. Deceased went to gather ferns for the camp and did not return. The police found a sack in the river and his body in a pool ten feet deep. Deceased leaves a widow and six young children.
