AEROPLANE FATALITY. By Telegraph. —Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, Feb. 11. S. F. Nettleton, of Trymple, Mildura, was killed through an aeroplane crashing, and a friend, Campbell Ludbrooks, was seriously injured. His condition is critical. KILLING CALVES IN QUEENSLAND. Sydney, Feb. 11. Cattle owners in Sydney are not surprised at the Queensland owners killing calves. They emphasise that the unsatisfactory export prospects, due to the state of the markets abroad and the resultant low prices, together with high freights and taxes, have made anything else unbusinesslike. DOCTOR TRAVELS BY AIR. Perth, Feb. 11. Dr. Treathowen, in response to an urgent call for an operation at Carnarvon, travelled in an aeroplane 500 miles. His patient is progressing satisfactorily, and is now expected to recover.
