PLAGUE IN SYDNEY.
INFECTION FROM FLEA. By Telegraph.—-Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Feb. 11. The mother of the plague victim is at present in New Zealand. The girl spent her holidays with an aunt at Botany Bay, and purchased clothing in a shop near the plague area the day before returning to school. It is believed an infected flea was conveyed in the clothing. The victim became ill on Monday and died on Thursday.
