WATERSIDERS’ STRIKE.

DISPUTE NOT SETTLED. By Telegraph—Vraas Association. Christchurch, Feb. 11. In connection with the dispute over discharging phosphates from the Glaucus, another meeting of the disputes committee was held this morning. Mr. Haggar, Conciliation Commissioner, and Mr. Georgeson, of the Labor Department, were present. The employers made a slightly better offer, which was refused by the workers, who agreed to tage 2s 9d per hour from Friday morning provided they were compensated for the loss of time. This was rejected by the employers’ representatives.
