Regarding the ballot for the selection of Labor candidates for the Sydney seat at the forthcoming polls, Mr. McGirr, who was previously rejected by the executive topped the poll. Mr. Minahan also secured selection. THE PRICE OF BUTTER. Received Feb. 12, 5.5 p.m. Sydney, Feb. 12. From Monday the retail price of butter will be reduced to Is 4d, a fall of twopence.
