In a special cycling match between Thursfield and Kaltenbrun (South Africa) and Burness and Scotton (New South Wales) over a mile the South Africans won the first two heats and dead-heated in the third heat. The ten miles. State championship resulted : Kaltenbrun 1, W. Little 2, E. Hannon 3. Won by a length. Time, 25min. 5 l-ssec.
