“I AM TOO OLD.”
LETTER ON DEAD MAN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The body of Harry St. George Walshe, a widower, aged 63. was found in the Heathcote river at Woolston. His left hand was tied to his left leg, and a cord and belt was hanging round his ankles, as if both feet had been tied together. In a pocket of the coat was the following note: “1 am getting too old for it now, so the best thing is to end it.” One of Walshe’s daughters lives in Christchurch and the others are in. the North Island.
