Prize schedules for the Taranaki A. and P. Society’s forty-seventh annunr show artnow available, and those interested who have not already received one by post should make application to the secretary, P.O. Aox 18. New Plymouth.
Besides an attractive prize list, the society is able to offer exhibitors all the facill-'es so necessary to make showing a pleasure. Three large cattle pavilions are now roofed in so that all dairy cattle will be comfortably housed during the show. An abundance of green feed will be obtainable free of charge on the grounds, and should any exhibitor require hard feed the society will arrange to have same delivered to the grounds. The society ha.” in past years gained a reputation for looking after exhibitors and tteir stock well, a reputation which the society intends to carefully guard throughout this show and future ones. A canvassing committee has already been round some parts of the district urging breeders to exhibit their stock, and the success this committee has met with is most encouraging, and points to the coming fixture being better than ever. The catering will be, as usual, In tne capable bands of a committee of ladies. A meeting of this committee has already been held, and another is being held on Friday afternoon next to make final arrangements. As entries close definitely on Friday, February 24, Intending exhibitors in the horse, cattle, sheep and pig sections should make a point of securing a schedule right away.
