The speeches of Mr. Churchill and Lord Birkenhead indicated the kind of poison gas which was being prepared by the scientist of Downing Street and the duty of members of the Labor Party was to prepare their gas masks. He said the speeches of Lord Birkenhead and Mr. Churchill were a direct appeal to class war. He could conceive nothing more dangerous, when one out of five of the adult population vere denied the right to work. "labor may make mistakes, 'but God .help u. if it can’t make a better job than the Liberals and Tories, singly or combined,” he added.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable
