It is reported from Allahabad that a mob of 2000 extremist volunteers and villagers attacked the police station nt Chaurichaura and killed the entire staff, comprising two sub-inspectors and 15 constables. The bodies were stripped and burned in the station buildings, which were destroyed. It is reported that two of the attackers were killed and a number wounded.
